Communications and Fundraising Assistant (part-time)
We are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated person to work closely with our Head of Communications in raising awareness about child exploitation, developing our individuals fundraising and promoting Pace research and training. This is a dynamic, varied role where duties will involve everything from supporting the development of a new individual giving programme to creating reports and generating new content ideas for social media.
Job Location: Leeds / Home-based
Hours of work: 14 hours / week
Salary: NJC Pt 19 – 22, £24,799 – £26,317 pro rata. Actual salary £9,383
Holiday entitlement: 28 days pro rata
Pension: 8% employers’ contribution

About the role
We are a dedicated and passionate team of people making a significant impact on families experiencing child exploitation. This role is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys the breadth and variety of experience that working in a small charity brings. As well as assisting with external communications, this role will be pivotal in supporting the development of a new individual giving programme at Pace. Excellent writing skills are essential for this post; the successful candidate will be adept at writing across different mediums from thanking a fundraiser, writing an award application to composing a tweet.
To be successful in this role, you will have had experience in engaging different audiences, building relationships with key stakeholders and have excellent organisation skills.
