The Pace Parent Action Group work to campaign on issues on behalf of all affected families and parents. The steering group of 8 members meet regularly to discuss priorities for parents and families. Using their lived experience of CSE, they can offer critical insight and knowledge on what it looks like from inside the family and what helps and what doesn’t. They are working with a range of bodies such as the National Working Group, the Home Office and Police and Crime Commissioners to bring the voices of parents and families into policy making and practice.
The Parent Action Group are holding an Open Meeting on Saturday 6th May to bring affected parents together to work collectively to tackle CSE. If you are an affected parent and would like more information about this meeting, please email Emily Godfrey (Parent Participation Co-ordinator) for further details.
