Become a volunteer

Would you like to volunteer for a national charity and support us to improve the lives of children and families affected by child sexual and criminal exploitation?

All of our Champions will have access to training, resources, and support, as well as knowing that you are making a huge difference to families living with child exploitation. You will also be given the opportunity to connect with other Champions, giving you the opportunity to share experiences, discuss solutions and create change

What role would suit you?

We have 3 different roles available for champions and we are currently recruiting for our Support Line Champions.

Support Line Volunteer

This unique role will give you the opportunity to use your compassionate listening skills to make a difference to parents and carers affected by child exploitation. This is a remote volunteer role, where you will talk to affected parents and carers during our evening Support Line hours using active listening skills to provide much needed emotional support. Find out more and apply.

Befriending Volunteer

Our Befriending Volunteer role will give you the opportunity to provide vital support to parents and carers who need space and time to heal and recover. When risk of exploitation reduces and services begin to cease support, families can often feel left behind and may still require emotional support during the transition process. This role will be a remote volunteer role, where you will be paired with an affected parent who has recently ended formal support with Pace.

Recruitment for this role will start shortly, please complete this form to register your interest.

Community Volunteer

Do you passionately believe in the importance of raising awareness about child exploitation in your local area? We are looking for professionals committed to safeguarding children to work alongside us and increase understanding to organisations and local communities about how to safeguard children from exploitation.

Our Training Volunteers will be supplied with the skills and resources to raise awareness of child exploitation within your organisation and local community. By increasing the awareness of parents, professionals and the wider community who have contact with children and families, you will be contributing to our mission to keep children safe from exploitation, reduce the stigma as well as offering early help to those affected.
