Pace (Parents Against Child Sexual Exploitation) are going to race in the Bradford City Runs 5k 10k and half marathon fun run on October 30th to raise money.
Pace is a national charity established to work alongside parents and carers of children who are (or who are at risk of) being sexually exploited by perpetrators external to the family. It provides direct support to individual families through case workers and parent liaison, and works with statutory services and third sector organisations. Pace is involved in the development of research and policy, including campaigning and lobbying for change.
Child sexual exploitation (CSE) devastates and traumatises young victims and their families giving rise to life changing challenges.
For one family running, “Inspiration to run for Pace came from the daily struggle of trying to get by and survive this heinous crime and the glimmer of light, hope and help Pace afforded us that no other agency offered!”
Pace is invaluable to families. Please donate whatever you can to encourage our supporters in the Pace Race 2016.
Thank you for your support!
