Listen to Charlie talking about why she is presenting the appeal for Pace:
Broadcaster and Journalist, Charlie Webster, makes our BBC Radio 4 Appeal for our work supporting families through the traumatic experience of child exploitation.
I have been campaigning for a long time now to make sure victims of sexual abuse get the specialist support they need. It’s something I never had until a lot later in my life and I know how devastating the aftermath of trauma that abuse leaves behind can be. That’s why I am supporting the charity Pace
Funds raised through our BBC Radio 4 Appeal will go towards helping families nationwide with our unique and vital support.
“They were a lifeline at an extremely traumatic time. I would not have coped emotionally or psychologically without their support” – parent
“I could see light at the end of the tunnel. I was feeling suicidal, without her help I would not be here” – parent
